Nnamdi Simon is a Nigerian-American writer, director and editor.

Nnamdi Simon is a Nigerian-American writer, director, and editor who tells stories with heart, style, and just the right amount of drama (the good kind). As a first-generation Nigerian-American, he discovered his cultural identity through lived experience—constantly balancing tradition with individuality—a dual perspective that shapes work that feels both deeply personal and universally relatable.

His portfolio spans music videos, commercials, and narrative films, all crafted with a sharp editorial eye and a strong sense of story. His work has earned industry recognition, including a Bronze Clio Sports Award for his editing on Converse Hoops: Shai 001 Launch (2025), and finalist honors for The Interim in the Hero’s Journey: The Post Traumatic Growth Story Challenge (2025), where he served as writer, director, and editor.

Nnamdi’s short films The Meadows (2020) and A Message Never Sent (2022) highlight his love for genre and character-driven storytelling, and are currently streaming on FilmShortage.

Whether he’s pushing genre boundaries or finding fresh ways into familiar stories, Nnamdi brings passion, humor, and a deep love of culture to every project.
